Webinar on Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) in the EU

RHDHV EPPA_Workshop_Corporate Sustainability Reporting

Webinar hosted by EPPA and Royal HaskoningDHV on Thursday 17 November 2022, from 11:00h to 12:00h.

The European Union seeks to enhance companies’ responsibility and role as societal actors and aims to make sustainability the new normal with new legislation on corporate sustainability reporting. Therefore, new obligations and requirements will be coming companies’ way very soon.

An important feature of these requirements relates to sustainability reporting under the upcoming Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD). The CSRD will, for the first time, mainstream existing sustainability reporting – put on an equal footing to traditional financial reporting, independently audited, and based on common EU standards. CSRD raises many questions for corporations, not least what to expect. What does the CSRD mean for day-to-day operations? How can companies integrate this in corporate sustainability operations/existing reporting? When will this take effect, and how should you prepare? What makes the EU standards different from existing reporting requirements?
In this webinar, we will answer these questions and more, by offering a view through a practical and pragmatic lens. Oriented towards companies’ daily realities, we will reflect on how companies can utilise the CSRD to create opportunities for thought leadership & come out on top. Sustainability experts at Royal HaskoningDHV and advocacy experts at EPPA host this joint webinar aiming at giving a comprehensive overview on sustainability reporting and what it means for companies and society.

Who should attend?
EU developments on mandatory reporting are no doubt critical for both EU and non-EU companies under the scope of the legislation. As the EU wants to take the lead in sustainability reporting, this will also be relevant for companies with operations in other regions and even smaller companies that are starting their reporting journey.

Virtual Speed-Networking
Take the opportunity to ask our experts all your questions on sustainability reporting and beyond! For the first time, we will offer a Virtual Speed-Networking session at the end of the webinar, where participants will get the opportunity to speak to our experts in a virtual 1-1 chat. Feel free to sign up for this in advance as part of the registration or just flag your interest during the webinar.
