Natacha joined EPPA in 2016 to strengthen the team on EU policies on sustainability. She works on a wide range of environmental-related issues, including chemical substance regulation (REACH, RoHS, PPPR, BPR), recycling (WEEE) and the implementation of the Circular Economy Package (eco-design, plastic strategy, waste, fertilisers).
She is member of the research team of the High Level Group on Innovation Policy Management – an independent public-private partnership that provides policy recommendations on innovation to EU and national policy makers. Her research focuses particularly on circular economy, resilience management and sustainability as well as digitalisation and industry 4.0.
Prior to joining EPPA, Natacha worked as an EU affairs consultant for the European Centre for Government Transformation in a “smart city” project, to help the City of Paris implement a new waste management policy based on the Circular Economy model, in the run-up to the COP 21 conference in 2015. She has also worked for Europa Nova as an assistant project manager.
She holds a Master’s degree in European Affairs and Political Science from Sciences Po Bordeaux, in history from the University of Paris-Sorbonne, and a Master’s degree from the College of Europe in Bruges.
Being half French and half Scottish, she is fluent in French, English and has a good working knowledge of German.
