Morten Petersen

Morten is a specialist on EU trade issues and regulations , with equal experience in public procurement and related issues.

His trade regulatory practice focuses principally on Trade Defence Instruments such as Anti-dumping and Anti-subsidy, where he advised and represented interested parties with the European Commission and Member States. It is essential for the competitiveness of European companies that trade regulatory instruments are applied in a coherent and consistent manner and that Union industry and third country exporters are treated fairly.

Prior to joining EPPA Morten acquired solid experience for more than 15 years in higher management positions working for European and International companies in industry, services and FMCG sectors. He also worked over five years for the European Commission notably on trade regulatory instruments such as anti-dumping and State aid.

Morten has since 2012 been a member of American Chamber of Commerce in the EU Committee on Trade, Trade Facilitation and Customs.

During the cause of his career Morten has worked in Denmark, Germany, Switzerland, France and Belgium and is fluent in Danish, English and French, comfortable in German, Italian and Swedish.

Morten took his degree in International Business Economics at Copenhagen University.
