Giacomo Miele

Giacomo joined EPPA to strengthen and expand the organization’s expertise on socio-economic analyses in numerous regulatory and policy areas with a focus on REACH, CLP, BPR, PPPR, Food & Feed in line with the strong expertise of the in-house Economists department. Prior to joining EPPA, he developed his professional career in EU public affairs, where he worked in the areas of sustainable finance, financial technologies and banking services as well as economic and social policies at the EU level.

Giacomo combines the economic dimension with his keen interest in public affairs, striving to build a bridge between the two worlds through an evidence-based approach. Through this strong methodology, he always aims at bringing an objective view providing not only a snapshot of the market realities but also thinking forward through the innovation pipelines.

Giacomo holds a Bachelor degree in Economics and Management from LUISS university in Italy and completed a Double Master’s degree in Economics with the Universities of LUISS (Italy) and Solvay Brussels School (Belgium). He operates in Italian and English, and has an intermediate command of French.
