Gabriel Lecumberri works in the spheres of trade, internal market, agriculture, food & feed, and environment, where he can provide a regulatory and a policy perspective.
Prior to joining EPPA in 2020, he worked in the European Parliament, in the field of Comparative Law (DG EPRS). Previously, he worked in well-established law firms in Spain, where he gained valuable experience in various legal areas, including Competition Law, EU Law, and Commercial Law.
Gabriel is a registered lawyer, having graduated from the University of Deusto (Bilbao) with a degree in Law and a Diploma in Economics. He holds a Master degree in European Studies from the University of Bath and the Humboldt University of Berlin. He also holds a Master degree in EU Law and Legal Practice from the University Carlos III of Madrid. He operates in Spanish, English and German and has an intermediate command of French.
