Camille Dehestru

Camille joined EPPA in 2018 to work on funding, agriculture and environment issues. Previous to joining EPPA she worked as a consultant for PACT European Affairs for 4 years, and was a bluebook intern in the European Commission’s DG Enterprise and Industry (ENTR) with the European Partnership for Alternatives to Animal Testing involving the chemical and cosmetics industry, and civil society.

While at PACT European Affairs, Camille focused on agricultural, health, consumer, environmental and institutional (comitology/secondary legislation) issues, and was also in charge of building application files for EU funding for promotion activities concerning agro-food products. From 2016 to 2020, she has secured a total of € 11.5 million EU co-funding under 8 different projects. At EPPA, she has also specialised in environmental and chemical accounts with a focus on REACH, RoHS and questions linked to the Circular Economy.

She holds a Bachelor of Politics and International Relations from the University of Kent at Canterbury (UK), a distance-learning Bachelor of Laws from Lille 2 (France), a Master in European Affairs from Sciences Po Lille (France), and a Master in European Political and Administrative Studies from the College of Europe in Bruges (Belgium), where she focused on interest representation and consumer issues.

Camille is fluent in French and English and has a basic understanding of Spanish and Dutch.
